Parker Coin and Bullion buys gold coins, bars and bullion at our shop in Parker, Colorado. Every piece is weighed, tested, and quoted in front of you against the live spot price. No pressure, no theatrics.

Bring in a single piece, an inheritance, or a lifelong collection. Bullion is priced against live spot; rare and collectible gold is evaluated on its own merits.
Every size from 1/10 oz to 1 oz, any year. Eagles are 22-karat; a 1 oz Eagle contains a full troy ounce of gold.

Refinery bars and rounds of any weight. Assay cards help but are not required; we test the metal either way.
Liberty and Saint-Gaudens double eagles, half eagles and the rest, graded or raw. Common dates trade on gold content; better dates and grades on their own merits.
Key dates, certified coins and world gold. Bring the holder and any paperwork you have.

We weigh each piece, test the metal, and price bullion against the live spot price the day you visit. Rare and collectible coins are evaluated on their own merits. You watch every step.

The live market price of gold per troy ounce. It moves through the day, which is why we quote against the price at the moment you visit.
Gold content is weight times purity. Gold is measured in troy ounces (31.1035 grams), not the ounces on a kitchen scale, and a 22-karat Eagle and a 24-karat Buffalo each contain one troy ounce of gold at different total weights.
Recognized bullion coins and bars trade close to spot. The closer a piece is to a standard, widely traded product, the simpler the quote.
For collectible coins, date, mintmark, grade and certification can add value above the metal. For bullion, condition does not change the metal content.
Want a reference before you visit? The homepage has a free melt value calculator for common U.S. gold and silver coins. Melt value is a reference, not an offer; every piece is weighed, tested and quoted in the shop.
Mail-in buyers ask you to ship your gold and trust the number that comes back. Here you watch the scale and the test, and you get the quote on the spot.

Cash is the usual way a transaction is settled, and a single ounce of gold is routinely paid out in cash on the spot. For a larger amount it depends on how much cash is in the shop that day, so a bigger payout may be written as a check instead, and those clear quickly. If you are bringing in a large lot, call ahead at (303) 578-8288 and we will tell you what to expect.
